I love the atmosphere of the place, and the staff is fantastic! Our orders arrived quickly. The meatboard was a nice touch, but the meat quantities were small, so for our group of five, we had to order more. I'd love to come back to try other dishes, but not too soon. My coworkers also enjoyed their drinks.

Stopped in here on a whim after my partner's birthday dinner. Great music and cool ambiance. Awesome place to grab an elevated cocktail. I tried the Traveler which is great if you love fernet and mint flavors. My partner got the classic old fashioned and enjoyed it.

In town visiting, came to this spot looking for a really good cocktail bar. Looking for a bartender that cares if the drink is good. Ordered a Negroni Blanco (bar tenders fav drink), and he absolutely crushed it. Top 3 Negroni I've tasted. Solid spot. Good music, not too packed when I was there (8pm weekday). Very chill, was exactly what I was looking for.

I recently visited Midcity and had an excellent experience. The ambiance was very inviting with relaxed, dim lighting and a cozy setting. There were just a few tables, a comfortable couch seating area, and a stylish bar with a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. I tried the Lush Lush cocktail, which is made with Vida Mezcal, Aperol, Amaro Montenegro, pineapple, and lemon. The drink was very tasty, perfectly balanced, and not too sweet. I particularly loved the smoky flavor of the Mezcal, which was just the right amount. My friend had the Sundrenched, which consists of Grey Goose Peach, Amaretto, lemon, egg white, and sugar. They enjoyed it quite a bit, especially the frothiness of the drink. One thing to note is that the bar was pretty difficult to find from the outside. It's very easy to walk past it if you're not looking for it, but I appreciated this aspect as it added to the hidden gem feel of the place. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Midcity, and I highly recommend it for a relaxed and enjoyable evening out.

We went with our friends on a Friday night, double date situation. This place is perfect to hit right after your pre-game! On the weekend, it gets super crowded. The place is tiny, but gorgeous! The drinks are decent. A very concise menu. Amazing dj. The ambiance is what I liked the most. I'll definitely revisit! We street parked. I'm sure you can find a parking garage nearby.

Cozy, Modern, and Fresh - Midcity Cafe is a dimly lit, cozy little cocktail bar that serves refreshing and unique small dishes and drinks! It is easy to walk to and the people who work there are extra friendly and fun. When you walk into Midcity, you feel like you are transported to somewhere exciting and exotic, but the cocktails are the star here! The space is adorned with verdant plants and features a beige, fashionable decor complemented by subtle, indirect lighting. The cocktails here are works of art - both in flavor and in presentation! With cute garnishes and beautiful colors, they are just fun to look at. I ordered the same drink two times because I loved it so much! The flavors are balanced, unique, and just enjoyable. At the door, they told us they served all kinds of different options and they were right! Only serving small bites, the items on the menu are again a delight for the eyes and the tongue. Midcity serves a variety of different tapas-style bites including Ceviche, Hummus, a gourmet Hot Dog, and a Charcuterie board! The Ceviche was a citrus-forward, refreshing and beautiful dish with foam and flowers - a must! This is an excellent little spot to visit with your friends or as a date night - there was no line when I came and it was not very crowded. A Midtown treat, Midcity Cafe is a place I will definitely return to.

This is a true craft cocktail establishment. We ordered two of their specialty drinks and both were exceptional. Additionally, we spoke to the bartender a bit and were impressed with her depth of knowledge as it relates to mixology. The service was generally friendly and attentive, but was slow towards the end when we were ready to go, which is what resulted in a one star deduction. If you like interesting drinks then this should be on your agenda.

I found Midcity Cafe from a Google search of bars near my hotel. I was pleased to find that it was literally right next to the Renaissance. Midcity was a pretty cool bar. The place was small but that just attributed to its intimacy. The interior gave me a Latin vibe. There wasn't a DJ at the time, but I suspect that they have resident DJs during the week. Customer service was fine. There was one bartender at the time, but I didn't talk to him really. There were two other female non-bartender servers behind the bar who took my drink orders and relayed them to the main bartender. Just thought that was an unusual interaction. Nonetheless, the bartender made my drinks quickly. I ordered a couple of cocktails. The quality of the cocktails were amazing. I got the Panorama Garden and Moonbow, which were both gin-based drinks, and I was highly satisfied with both.
